BART VAN DER SCHAAF

       CORPORATE ACTOR

AT THE GROUP'S SERVICE

I have a keen eye for every individual learning process and I know that the part I play should give new insights not only to the participant with whom I am playing, but to the whole group. Because I have worked with so many people in so many different fields and trades, I know that in the end it always comes down to behaviour and that we have a choice. Ever present elements such as status, situation, context and safety are things I can easily adapt to the individual learning goals, taking into acount the effect on the group and the trainer's goals and timing. Participants regularly tell me I both make them feel safe and challenge them to try out new stuff. And that they had a good time.

Bart works honestly, is able to confront respectfully, and always gets very good reviews as a co-trainer and as a corporate actor. Participants are unanimous in their feedback that working with Bart deepened their experimenting with new behavior and greatly contributed to their growth and achievements.

ELLEN VAN LAAR - La Sfida

Intelligent, ambitious, understanding, accurate and creative. And he's a nice guy, that too. The only thing is: he drives a motorcycle. Bit sad, what?

BERTHOLD GUNSTER - Yes-But®

Original, sense of humor, resolute and pleasantly surprising. I know Bart as a creative teacher and coach. He is able to really help people push their creative boundaries.

WORKING TOGETHER

As a result of years of experience and because I am interested in a great many things, I am familiar with almost every model and theory in the communication, behavior or change department. That makes it easy for me to be at the trainer's service and adjust my feedback to the goals at hand. Trainers tell me they like the fact that I can easily step in and out of role plays, assist in working with sub-groups, facilitate warm-up games and have useful input for group dynamics and didactics. All so that we can steepen the participants' learning curves.

VOICE OVER

CORPORATE ACTOR

Participants regularly tell me that working with me in role playing situations is a breath of fresh air and far more instructive and entertaining than expected.

I have more than 20 years of experience in assessments and training communication skills going from factory workfloor to CEO level. I acted in training sessions for police officers and firefighters, mental health care professionals and doctors, sales reps and crisis-communication managers, and did role plays varying from selling motorcycles to councelling suicidal patients, from co-worker aid to pursuit-and-observation skills, and from breaking bad news to closing a million dollar deal.
